Habanero Chicken Quesadilla
Ingredients:
- 2 flour tortillas
- 1 cup of shredded cooked chicken
- Red Habanero Hot Sauce Lago de Chapala
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- Cooking oil
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the red Habanero Chapala Lake Sauce until well coated.
Assemble the Quesadilla:
Spread the cream cheese on a tortilla.
Add a layer of the habanero chicken mixture.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and chopped green onion.
Top with the other tortilla.
Cooking:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
Place the quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy and the cheese has melted.
Serve:
Remove quesadilla from skillet, cut into triangles and serve with more Red Habanero Hot Sauce Lago de Chapala and a dollop of sour cream or ranch dressing, if desired.
