Chapala Guacamole

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 ripe tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 5-6 tablespoons Chile de Arbol Hot Sauce Lago de Chapala (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Directions:
Make the guacamole:

In a large bowl, cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. With a spoon, scoop out the flesh and place it in the bowl.
Mash the avocados with a fork until you get the desired texture (softer or thicker).

Add ingredients:

Add chopped tomato, red onion, Chile de Arbol Hot Sauce Lago de Chapala, lime juice and salt to taste.
If you like, add fresh chopped cilantro for extra flavor.

Mix:

Mix all ingredients well until combined.

Serve:

Serve guacamole with tortilla chips, tacos or as an accompaniment to your favorite dishes.
